 a little about Lissa..

Lissa was born on the beautiful island of Trinidad & Tobago. Moving to Canada at the age of 7, she spent most her adolescent and early adult life seeking different ways of staying ‘fit’ and healthy. After coming across a yoga class in her mid twenties, she knew she was instantly hooked. The feeling of complete serenity and peace after walking out after class was something she realised was more than on a physical level.

After relocating to Qatar shortly thereafter, Lissa’s passion for love for yoga deepened as she continued to be amazed by the transformation taking place inside and out. Lissa explored many styles of yoga and worked with various world-renowned teachers whom all have inspired her in different ways. In May 2015 she received her 500 RYT Certificate through Yoga Alliance with a dedicated focus in Astanga and Vinyasa yoga in Doha, Qatar. 

 

While at heart, Lissa will always be dedicated to the practice of Ashtanga, she throughly enjoys using her creative side when sequencing her vinyasa classes. Her passion is simply sharing yoga with her students and strives to assist every one of them in experiencing the magical flow of breath and movement. Now, back in Toronto Lissa' continues to teach. Her aim for each yoga class, is for each student leave her class feeling energised, balanced and an overall sense of bliss.

Workplace Yoga

Sessions are sequenced to consider individuals needs. Each 1 hr class incorporates various yoga postures and breathing techniques, providing team members with a deepened sense of relaxation and stress relief. In addition to the above, added benefits of workplace yoga includes team bonding in a more casual setting and overall improvement in employees health and well being.

Private Sessions

Whether you are new to yoga or returning to the practice after some time, private sessions allows us to work together to develop a personal plan including goals that suits your individual needs.
